They want to be able to learn to do jumps and go through a track very swiftlyWhats the best dirt bike to get if your a beginner at 5'5 180lbs?
I don't think you can go wrong with the crf150r for your height. It would be a perfect bike for you to get started in mx on. If you are intending to do jumps don't look at bikes like the ttr125,or crf150f as they are not designed for jumping.
Be careful if buying used as a crf150r that has been raced and not maintained all that well will really give you trouble, so buy as new as you canWhats the best dirt bike to get if your a beginner at 5'5 180lbs?
If you will be riding on a track the Honda CRF150R is the perfect choice. As a beginner at your height I would not consider a 125 2 stroke or even a 250F at this point. Motocross bikes are fairly expensive though. The 150R is just over $4000 new and a used one is going to be in the $3000 range. Of course trail bikes are much cheaper but do not have the suspension to handle a motocross track.
as XYZ and auburn said, a 150 or 125 4 stroke is perfect for you. they may just a little bit short, but they have good power than can easily be handled by a total beginner. either a yamaha TTR125, Honda CRF150, Suzuki DRZ125, or Kawasaki KLX125 would be just perfect for you. have fun!
a 250f is a good bike for you. im 14 years old and 190lbs and 6 foot and i race a 250 but i was around 5'5 wen i got mine you can buy one new for about 7,000 but used about 3500 i hav 3 for sale for 3500 and they hav some work done to them
If you live on the west coast, around the nv area, i can sell you my crf 150r. Great condition because i only rode it 4 times and got too big for it. Let me know...yankees77bc@yahoo.com
