What caged bird is good for a beginner?

i really want a bird i have for a while now was debating weither to have an avary or a caged indoor bird i decided on the caged bird , which sort is best for a beginner bird owner ? any other info would be good also thanks in advanceWhat caged bird is good for a beginner?
How about a zebra finch? They are small, and social. If you get a young one, you can teach it to inter-react with your household.


Zebra finches are also really cheep, but they live for a pretty long time.


Their diets are pretty simple. Seeds, some fruits, some veggies, and some bread ( toast, bagels) eggs.

a cockatiel. they are pretty low maintenance but are very social, like to be held or ride on your shoulder and you can teach them to talk and whistle.
