Classic are the best - mild, readily available and inexpensive
Go for a Romeo %26amp; Julieta that are very mild and on the small side so they dont look like a big fat stoggy.
CAO Gold is probably one of the best cigars to start with. It is mild but flavorful and the robusto and corona sizes are under $5. Also very tasty, but more expensive are the Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticuts and the Ashton Classics. Any good tobacannist will be able to suggest other lines that they carry that are also good to start out with.
Don't go for the fat ones, they are hard to toke on if you're a beginner.
Cigars are fully wrapped on one end, so you either need to buy a cheap cutter, or have the clerk cut the cigar for you.





You might want to try buying a small tin of little cigars. They're good because a whole cigar is a lot to smoke, and several dollars each. But, with a little tin, you get about 10 little cigars for like $10. And they are made by the same brands who make big cigars. I've tried Partegas and Macanudo little cigars.





The good cigars are about $5. My favorites were La Gloria Cubana and Hoyo De Monterrey.

Romeos are a great cigar but my favorite is Montecrisco white its a great mild smoke. You won't be disappointed. Or maybe try a smaller flavored one. My suggestion is try a couple different kinds there are so many different types out there. Its like dating you have to keep trying different ones till you find one you love. Good luck.
