I was looking up some classes at the Broadway Dance Center in New York website. There were some that said ';Beginner'; and other said ';Advanced Beginner';. Whats the difference? What does it mean when it says ';Advanced Beginner'; when it comes to dance classes
Beginner meaning that you haven't had any training at all. And then Advanced Beginner is when you've had some training, but still aren't that well and need to improve your technique. What does it mean when it says ';Advanced Beginner'; when it comes to dance classes
Well, it doesn't mean that the student thinks they're great when they're dancing at home or in the clubs. It would mean you've had beginning classes and know the basic moves and are consistently proficient at executing them. So, you're ready to move on to more difficult steps, routines, etc.
Advanced beginner means that you aren't intermediate of advanced but are a begginer that is advanced enough to be called an advanced beginner but not quite intermediate.
Hope I made sense!!:)
advanced beginner may mean that the class is designed for people who are still learning the beginning steps but have taken classes before....
uMMMM. At the Irish Dance school I go to, Advanced Beggeiner (AKA; AB) is level 2, begginer being 1.
Advanced Beginner? That would be an OXYMORON...lol...
