What is the best bob dylan song for a beginner?

Someone told me that I should listen to Bob Dylan, that I would like him. But from what I've heard, his songs don't make sense and he can't sing.

But my friend usually has good taste in music, so maybe I'm listening to the wrong songs. What songs would be best for me to hear first? What is the best bob dylan song for a beginner?
';everybody must get stoned';What is the best bob dylan song for a beginner?
Rainy Day Women #12 and #35, or above called ';everybody must get stoned'; first lured me to him, but other good songs are Jet Pilot, Sara, One More Cup of Coffee, Subterranean Homesick Blues, and Highway 61 Revisited Report Abuse

Hurricane, Like a Rolling Stone, and Time's They Are A-Changin.

Be patientwith Bobby. His voice isn't his forte. It's his song-writing that is his real talent. Give him a chance. Promise it's worth it.

Good Luck!
Here's some good songs to start with:

Positivly 4th street

like a rolling stone

tangled up in blue

Rainy Day Women #12 %26amp; 35

The Times are changing

blowing in the wind

Tamborine Man

I hope this helps
Start with ';blowing in the wind';
Suberteranian Homesick Blues is my absolute favorite. The video is brilliant as well. My friend claims that this the first rap song of all time. You can decide.

If your a beginner and start cardio 1 1/2 hr /day at 80 % ur max heart rate?

will u take out the chance to gradually increase as your body hits plateaus? If your a beginner and start cardio 1 1/2 hr /day at 80 % ur max heart rate?
90 minutes a day at 80% MHR for someone who just started is detremental.

your nervous system won't handle it. your cardiovascular system can't handle it. and your endurance can't handle it. your body will shut down, burn muscle at a fast rate, and you will host many problems including weaker immune system, excess cortisol secretion, lethargy, loss of appetite, insomnia... etc.

a secondary issue is hitting a plataeu... what will you do then? 3 hours per day??? start gradually. why not start out with a 250 caloric deficit from diet, and a 300 caloric deficit from exercise every other day? this way you will lose 1-2 lbs per week. and whenever you plataeu, just increase exercise slightly.

hope that helps

I am a beginner sewer and i need help!!!?

I got my sewing machine 2 days ago and i am going to take lessons but everytime i sew on my jeans the needle stops and there is a whole bunch of thread that is gathered at the bottom of the fabric(denim)

am i not moving the faabric forward fast enough or what

Im 14

and i want to be a fashion designerI am a beginner sewer and i need help!!!?
Sounds like the needle may not be threaded properly. What type of machine do you have? It may not be heavy enough for sewing denim.I am a beginner sewer and i need help!!!?
you might have not threaded it correctly
Are you holding the tail of thread that you left behind the needle when you threaded it? You only have to hold it for a few seconds when you first start, once you get a couple of stitches in your fabric you can let it go.

Also you should not be moving your fabric at all, let the machine do the work :) All you have to do is move your material just a little bit to the left or right to guide it threw in a straight line.

I would also make sure you have your bobbin %26amp; thread threaded threw the machine correctly, your machine should have come with instructions on that.
rethread the machine and the bobbin. ( trust me it helps) if that doesnt work turn it off than turn it back on and then if that doesn't work check your thread tension ( also it could be the wrong needle for denim since denim is thick)
Make sure the bobbin is seated correctly, double check the threading instructions because it sounds like there may not be enough tension on the thread. Also, make sure the stitch selector is not set for a 'close' stitch. The denim is too heavy to accept anything too fine. You may want to read your manual for the types of needles to be used on certain fabrics to make sure of no problems there either.
First off, that is awesome that you want to go into fashion!! That is a tough path but if you know that at the outset you'll be fine!

Now about the sewing, make sure you are using a denim needle. If you aren't using a needle that can get through the fabric it will foul the order of the machine and leave you with all kinds of tangles.

Also, check the tension on both the upper and lower setting. If one is off it wont pull on the other right and allow the other thread to be loose and tangled or the thread itself will be loose and tangled. You machine should have a book that lists *guidelines* for what the settings should be for different materials.

As the first answer suggested make sure that you have threaded your machine correctly. Again read that manual really carefully because missing one little things could be throwing the whole thing off.

As for moving the fabric, your foot should do that. You are only holding on to keep the fabric sticking out from getting hung up on something and to keep the fabric straight. There is a way on some machine to adjust that too so if it seems like the fabric doesn't move at a rate equal to how hard you are pushing on the foot peddle you will want to look and make sure that your foot (on the machine not your human foot) is strong enough for denim. There might be other feet to use on denim too... I sew ice skating costumes and I have to a roller foot on that stretch fabric because if not it wont move past the upper foot right.

I hope this helps! Just give this time! And lessons are a great idea!
It could be a number of things.

firstly, have you got the right size needle for denim in?

secondly, is the tension right? try a test peice.

thirdly, it may be that the thread is not threaded right in the bobbin, or that it needs cleaning.

forth, is the upper thread right?

my guess is that the bobbin has thread tangled in it, or its not set right inside.

You should have a troubleshooting section in the back of your manufacturers guide, have a look.

Good luck.
probably didnt thread correctly. go back and check. maybe the bottom one??

Cheap, good quality beginner skateboard trucks?

i have a skateboard, pretty shitty but good enough. my trucks keep coming loose and so im going to buy new ones. im a beginner skateboarder so i want to get trucks that are cheap but are good quality and will last. any ideas?Cheap, good quality beginner skateboard trucks?
Huh? How the heck are your trucks coming loose? And do you mean they're coming loose from the board or that they are loosening and becoming wobbly?

If it's the former and the trucks are coming loose from the board, maybe all you need is some new mounting hardware. On the other hand, if your trucks are somehow working their way loose and becoming wobbly, maybe all you need is a couple new lock nuts to put on your kingpins.

Going with either of those two solutions will save you a ton of money and then you can keep the savings, earn a little more and get yourself a decent pair of Independents some day.Cheap, good quality beginner skateboard trucks?
ruckus, speed demons, and bullet trucks are the cheapest trucks i've seen. i'd go for ruckus trucks cuz i tried it and it was pretty good.
Royal, Venture, Thunder, and Silver are good trucks. I wouldn't say they are very cheap but they are the best for me.
Well.. most trucks down here are 40...

I got my Royal trucks for 30. :P

I prefer Royal trucks. %26lt;3

    Good tennis racquet for beginner?

i am a beginning tennis player that wants to play with friends and start getting good. I want a tennis racquet for x-mas and I want to know which one is a good one to get. I am 6 foot 1, so i don't know what length i should get. What would be a good suggestion?Good tennis racquet for beginner?
    PrinceGood tennis racquet for beginner?
Here is your best bet. Go to a good sized tennis shop or a decent sporting goods store and demo racquets. Usually you give them a few bucks deposit, and but that comes off the racquet you buy. Several places online will do it too. Then you get to try out several racquets and pick the one you play with the best. You usually have a knowledgeable person at the store to help you. Good luck!
Babolat have a great selection of beginner rackets for everyone. They make different sized weight ones and also for the syle of play you use. They also make rackets for how serious you are or will be by the end. So pick babolat
To summarize what's been said.. Its easiest and best to start out with an oversized racquet as opposed to a midsize. For a 6' 1'; player, you should defnitely have an adult racquet. I recommend the Prince Tour personally, I play a Prince Speedport. Speedports are good, but generally have much more power.

    Hope this helps, Nathan S
Head has the best racquets ^_^
go to a sports store and get a racket that there...no need to get fancy. when they get better, get them a wilson or prince. thats what i did.

aslo, if they dont like tennis you want to waste a good one
a good racquet to start out with is the head liquidmetal radical mp. its really cheap and its pretty good based on its specs. dont buy the oversized one since its not teaching good technique if you rely too much on the power of a racquet.

if not that one, get a wilson ntour which is in my opinion even better than the radical.

they both cost around the same and are pretty good tweener racquets...

id back off from the beginner racquets since they just slow down a players growth and teach bad technique.
For starters you should get one that you feel comfortable holding and that is not to heavy or light. You can get those at decent sport shops. OR if you are considering taking lessons, consult your coach or ask your coach to get a racquet that best suits your style of playing. =)))
go to a tennis shop where they have experienced tennis players and sales representives
Get the one that feels most comfortable to you, from weight, balance, torquing of mis-hit shots, and even grip. Most rackets are a standard 27'; (cm?) in length, but some are offered in a longer size to generate more power. I suggest going to a shop (preferably a local one), tell them about what you're looking for, and demo several frames from different manufacturers because you'll never know which one is right for you. Mention that you don't know your grip size, and they should help you out with that. All racket makers manufacture good frames, but some are more suitable for others.

If I were trying to sell you a frame, I'd see how heavy of a racket you can swing for at least 2 hours, and then the most stable of those rackets within in that weight range. If I were forced to name a racket for you based on what you've written, I'd suggest the $99.00 Fischer M Speed Pro 1 in the 105 sq'; size. I don't know enough about other brands, but they're all better than any racket found in Walmart.
    get adult definitly

    if ur looking for speed go ';oversized head';

    if ur looking for control go ';mid-plus head';

since ur a beginner id go with control... and im not saying that control is just for beginners... i use mid-plus... speed is for

people that just look for power, but control is way more important than how hard u hit the ball....

if uve been playing awhile like me, then u know how to play and rally a fast ball so its worthless but if u hit a cross-court shot with perfect accuracy... u do the math.

go with a wilson or head... actually head is ur best bet...

get ur racket at a tennis pro shop bc they know wat is right... dont get the cheesy rackets at like academy.. they hav nothing....

    good luck
You really need to demo some before you buy an expensive racquet. However if you are just starting out you may just want to go to Wal Mart or a Sporting Goods Store like ***** or Sports Authority and get a pre-strung model for less than $50. But if you want a nicer racquet then go to a tennis pro shop and tell them you are beginning and want a good basic racquet - they should let you demo some and then you can decide which you like.

Racquets are very subjective, what might work for my game might not work for yours. But if you are a beginner I'd just start with a prestrung raquet from Dick's.
i work in a tennis shop.

Head if you want power not heavy not light and control genrally

babolat if you want light and fairly powerful

not Prince there over priced Sh**

dont get argos or asda makes there pointless bad you will want to spend a bit but not over 拢80拢 $160$

that will be too much hope this helps.
